Held on the morning of September 3, 2026, at the Landmark Hotel Conference Room, under the chairmanship of His Excellency Mr. Thongsalith Mangnomek, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Education and Sports, President of the National Olympic Committee of Laos, with Honorary President NOC, former President of the National Olympic Committee of Laos, Advisory Board, Vice Presidents, Executive Board of the Lao National Olympic Committee, Head of Office, Director of Department, Director of Institute, Deputy Director of Department from the Ministry of Education and Sports, Members, Sports Committee of the Lao National Olympic Committee, President and Secretary of the National Sports Federation, a total of 147 people attended and there were 40 women.

The meeting listened to and approved the summary of the implementation of the activities of the National Olympic Committee of Laos for the 04 years 2022-2026 and the direction of the 04-year action plan for the 2027-2030 years of the Executive Board of the National Olympic Committee of Laos, the financial report of the Lao National Olympic Committee over the past 4 years, the presentation of lessons from the duties implementation of 02 members and 01 Athlete’s Commission, 05 National Sports Federations, the report on the implementation of the Olympic Process Promotion Fund, the proposal of the targets list of the 9th Executive Board of the National Olympic Committee of Laos, comments and a resolution approving the targets list of the 9th Executive Board of the Lao National Olympic Committee for submission to higher levels for consideration. In particular, it also listened to the speech of Mr. Assoc. Prof. Thongsalith Mangnomek, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Education and Sports, President of the Lao National Olympic Committee

After listening to the reports, a commendation from the conference delegates, and based on the guidance of the conference chairman, the conference agreed to adopt the following resolutions:

1. The meeting agreed to adopt the report on the achievements of the activities of the 8th National Olympic Committee of Laos (2022-2026) and the future action plan of the National Olympic Committee of Laos;

2. The meeting agreed to approve the financial report of the National Olympic Committee of Laos for the 04 years (2022-2026);

3. The meeting agreed to approve the presentation of lessons learned from the duties implementation of 02 commissioners and 01 athlete’s commission, 05 national sports federations, and the report on the implementation of the Olympic Process Promotion Fund, which was presented as information and lessons learned;

4. The meeting agreed to adopt the report on the implementation of the Sports Promotion Fund for the Olympic Process and the idea of ​​expanding the fund to be used to promote specific disciplines more widely;

5. The meeting agreed to assign organizations and relevant parties to implement important tasks that are strategic for sports development and are priorities as follows:

5.1. Continue to lead the political-ideological education for athletes, sports personnel, referees and coaches in depth and comprehensively;

5.2 Assign to the Executive Board of the National Olympic Committee of Laos to take the achievements of each aspect of the conference and continue to implement its responsibilities, such as improving work methods, administrative work, technical promotion work, internal coordination work and cooperation with international sports organizations to be more efficient and effective.

5.3 National Olympic Committee of Laos, National Sports Federations coordinate and collaborate with the Department of Elite Sports, Ministry of Education and Sports, and relevant parties to create a specific plan to organize a meeting to learn from participating in major sports events at various levels with analysis and technical evaluation of each aspect, starting from preparation and participation in the competition, to scientifically research the issues and problems of each topic, starting from athlete selection, training, and participation in each stage, to provide a consistent and appropriate standard for sustainable development according to the Lao sports development strategy.

5.4 National Olympic Committee of Laos continues to promote and strengthen the members of the Athletes’ Committee and the National Sports Federation continuously and comprehensively, so that personnel and athletes are strengthened and develop better.

5.5 Continue to improve the management and administration of National Olympic Committee of Laos to be strong as a decisive factor in the efficiency and effectiveness of the National Olympic Committee of Laos’s activities.

5.6 National Olympic Committee of Laos has will work with the Department of Sports and National Sports Federations to develop sustainable sports in accordance with the Lao Sports Development Strategy, which will create quality officials, coaches and athletes;

5.7 National Olympic Committee of Laos, National Sports Federations and the Department of Elite Sports will begin preparing a proposal through the government to support the hosting of the 36th SEA Games in 2031, step by step
