The training was warmly welcomed by Mr. Phoxay VONGKHAMXAO, Deputy of Education and Sports of Champasak Province, on behalf of the Lao National Olympic Committee. Mr. Somphou Phongsa, Vice President of the National Olympic Committee of Laos (NOCL) & Mr. Phouvanh VONGSOUTHI, Executive Board of NOCL, presented the lessons

This training was attended by a total of 24 participants from 18 sports federations and 6 cities in the province (4 women and 2 from the People’s Security Division No. 02 were also interested in participating in the training).

Each topic of the lesson focuses on preparing to host a sport, preparing to participate in a competition, ceremonial work, finding sponsors, athlete development models, etc. In addition, it also introduces the background, duties and roles of the International Olympic Committee and creates an understanding of the rights, duties and roles of state sports organizations and social sports organizations, including conveying the real-life work experiences of the lecturers so that the seminar participants can imagine and simulate situations while listening to the lesson presentation.

The last session of this training provided an opportunity for the participants to questions & Answer (Q&A), to find out the causes and propose solutions to the problems from the lecturers, and the training ended with the presentation of certificates to the participants.
